Tracking Student Reading DataWe want every student to show 1.9 grade levels of reading growth by the end of the school year based on a diagnostic test adminustered in the fall. We use the Gates-MacGinitie test to track reading and submit results 3 times per year.

Tracking Student Writing DataOur goal is for all students to average a 3.2 average score (acorss all writing traits) using the Nevada Department of Education rubric by the end of the school year. Writing Data should be collected and turned in four times per year.

Tracking Student Standard MasteryThis metric is not collected by your MTLD but is no less important for understanding where your students are in relation to their peers acorss the state and in terms of grade-level expectations.
